They are said to be evil, menacing, and intimidating. They only belong in the hands of the military because of their lethal appearance. Piers Morgan says they need to be outlawed. Rob Lowe said he can’t think of a reason why he would want to own one. The president claims that too many Americans cling to guns and religion and wants to introduce another AWB (assault weapon ban) more sweeping than the last one that expired in 2004 with the civilian AR15 being a prime target. Yet the AR15 continues to be the most popular rifle in the United States among gun owners who never commit crimes.
